Robert Pointer has painted since the early 1970's. He earned his Bachelor Degree in Fine Art in 1981 and taught with the Peel District School Board for a quarter century. His paintings have been displayed in public and private galleries as part of solo and group shows.

Whether you choose a few lessons or a 10-lesson course you will learn the basics of painting, historical context, the pros and cons of the materials and a methodical approach to creating a work of art.

The lessons are step-by-step guided instruction. Robert Pointer has taught hundreds of students over the past 30 years. His easy-going style provides a positive learning environment in his rural studio.
